The replacement of scaled, pierced or degraded pipes can quickly turn into a nightmare. In addition to the costly and risky work, the temporary relocation of residents is also a major concern.
To avoid such constraints, Curatec, a specialist in the cleaning and rehabilitation of pipelines, has developed Curaflow®, a renovation process by the installation of resin, without demolition or damages in the housing.
Our group has been working throughout Luxembourg for almost 10 years.
Scale, corrosion, sludge, wear and tear or accidental handling during construction: there are many causes of irreversible pipeline failures. To put an end to water leaks without breaking floors or walls, Curatec has developed Curaflow®.
This proven technique consists of depositing an extremely dense, structural epoxy resin membrane on the internal walls of pipelines.
Applied according to a strict methodology to punctured or degraded pipelines, this resin restores their impermeability, much like a new skin.
The Curaflow® method works on most materials used in the manufacture of intra-building pipelines:
This advanced technique is particularly useful for the partial or total repair of wastewater or rainwater pipelines with a nominal diameter of 40 to 150.
A preliminary diagnosis by video inspection is essential to establish a precise inventory of the situation and to propose an adapted strategy. However, all renovation projects include an upstream cleaning, as well as a control phase after the installation of the liner.
A successful lining can only be carried out on a clean and bare wall, after the removal of scale, sludge and biofilm deposits. We therefore systematically carry out a complete stripping and descaling of the pipelines and downpipes.
If their condition allows it, we prefer a very high pressure cleaning (VHP), also called high frequency technology cleaning. Fast and very efficient, this process, in which we are experts, allows us to expose the whole system in only a few hours. It is the only process powerful enough to completely strip drainage pipes.
Otherwise, if the pipes are aging or too fragile, we implement a biological cleaning plan.
Our technicians then run a polishing robot through your systems, followed by a bining unit controlled from the upper parts of the building (roof, terrace, ventilation pipe, etc.). This lining unit has a rotating head at its end that will successively spray 2 layers of structuring resin on the walls, i.e. a total thickness of about 3 mm.
Please note: our quick-drying lining resin is approved by the Deutsches Institut fürBautechnik (DIBt), a European certification body for construction products. This gives you a ten-year warranty on our lining work.
After the resin has dried and hardened at room temperature in a maximum of 2 hours, a Curatec technician checks that it has been properly applied using a high-definition automatic camera. If the results of the inspection are positive, the occupants can use the systems again the same day.
